APRIL 1-30

APRIL 1-30
The blue pinwheel has become a national symbol for child abuse prevention; this simple image reminds us that all children deserve a happy, safe childhood.  From April 1-30 each year, Virginia Beach CASA runs a 30-day awareness-raising campaign. During this time, sponsors and donors place Pinwheels (provided by Virginia Beach CASA) at locations of choice throughout the community.

To coincide with this campaign, we host PINWHEEL PALOOZA - a family oriented event that is FREE and OPEN to the public and includes entertainment, vendors, child-friendly activities and a fitness race course.

Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront

Since 2000, this summer beach party has continued to grow in both scale and popularity, leading many to now refer to it as the Premier Party at the Beach.  As our primary fundraiser for the year, this event helps Virginia Beach CASA provide a vital voice for child victims of abuse and neglect in Virginia Beach.

Overlooking the Virginia Beach boardwalk with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, this year's event will feature live music by the Deloreans, Live and Silent Auction packages, and exquisite Food and Drinks.
